Najib walks us through a day in the life of a Lebanese blogger. In this beautifully-illustrated presentation (Graphics by Maya Zankoul), Najib invites us to blog with passion, and to experience Lebanon in all its diversity. These talks were recorded at the Lebanese American University in Beirut on September 29, 2012 as part of the first independently organized live TEDxLAU event under the theme of “Unleash Your Passions”. About the speaker: Najib is a “quiet force of nature.” A Computer Scientist whose strong academic and professional background reflects the ability to succeed in a highly competitive environment. He received his degree in Computer Science from AUB in 2005 and then went for a Masters in Business Administration at LAU. Najib did not allow his expertise in programming languages and various operating systems confine him to one field. Instead, he aims to pursue a career in the broader areas of the business where he can contribute to the decision-making process. He was also involved in a number of student clubs at university and is an avid reader and movie critic. His experience with a number of blogs and the creation of the well-known BlogBaladi has made him a figure to be reckoned with in the online Lebanese arena.
